On August 29, 2026, Psi Chi Chi Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. celebrated its 10th anniversary and awarded a local nursing student a scholarship. Morgan Jones, the scholarship recipient, is a junior in the Bachelor of Science Nursing program at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
It was the vision of Dr. Tamara Grayson-Eubanks to organize the chapter. On August 6, 2016, Psi Chi Chi chapter was chartered by 14 registered nurses. Since chartering, the chapter’s members began providing community health related services in the greater Chattanooga area.
Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. is a professional organization for professional registered nurses and nursing students. Today, there are 101 graduate chapters and over 9,000 members throughout the United States, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The sorority motto is “ Service for Humanity”
