Local boys’ charter school, Chattanooga Prep, named as one of three state finalists for Tennessee Charter School of the Year for its innovative approach to education. Each year the Tennessee Charter School Center recognizes the outstanding efforts and achievements of charter leaders, innovators, and advocates that have made significant strides in elevating public education standards.

Brad Scott, CEO of Chattanooga Prep, contributes the nomination to the hard work our staff, students, and parents have exhibited throughout the pandemic. “Our Chattanooga Prep community has never lost sight of our most important goal, which is to ensure all children thrive in our school both academically and socially. At Chattanooga Prep, we focus on the whole child and ensure all of our students are prepared to excel to and through college.”

Chattanooga Preparatory School is an all-boys public charter school that opened its doors to students in August 2018. Located in the Highland Park area, close to downtown Chattanooga, the school is positioned to provide a unique and impactful educational opportunity for the young men in urban communities.
